Venice has no cars, making it uniquely magical. Skip crowded public transportation by having your hotel book a private water taxi. You’ll avoid lines, get unbeatable views, and have a memorable boat ride all to yourself.
Enjoy Dinner Along the Grand Canal
Nothing beats eating delicious Italian food while overlooking Venice’s iconic canals. There are numerous restaurants along the water, but my personal favorite is Ristorante Sempione. To snag the best canal-side seats, visit during off-peak dining times as there is only two tables that offer this.

A gondola ride is a bucket-list activity for any Venice itinerary. My best tip is to get there early, right when they open at 9 AM. This will help you avoid crowds and long wait times, making your gondola experience even more magical.
